FIRST STEPS

The "First Steps" introduces young dancers to the joy of movement in a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate setting. Classes focus on creativity, coordination, musicality, and confidence while establishing a strong foundation for future dance training.

Twinkle Tots

Ages 2-4yrs

This combo-style class for our young dancers focuses on creative movement, rhythm discovery, and essential motor skills. Through engaging instruction and structured activities, participants enhance their balance, coordination, listening abilities, and self-expression.

Twinkle Stars

Ages 5-7yrs

Designed for slightly older dancers, this combo program builds upon foundational skills while introducing more structured movement. Students begin learning basic dance terminology, classroom etiquette, and choreography while continuing to explore creativity and performance.

What to Expect my first day...

The first day of child's dance class is all about comfort, fun, and exploration. Teachers focus on helping dancers feel welcome while introducing simple movement, music, and playful activities designed for short attention spans. Toddlers will practice basic coordination, listening skills, and classroom routines through imaginative movement and guided play.

Some dancers jump right in, while others may need time to warm up—both are completely normal. Our instructors gently encourage participation while creating a safe, positive environment. Smiles, giggles, and even a few tears are part of the process. By the end of class, most dancers leave feeling proud and excited to come back.  By the end of the first month of dance most students are fully integrated and comfortable in the classes.

WHAT TO WEAR TO CLASS

Dress Code

Class uniforms create a sense of unity and professionalism while helping students feel confident and focused. By removing distractions around clothing choices, uniforms allow dancers to concentrate on technique, alignment, and learning. They also help instructors clearly see body placement and movement, ensuring more effective feedback and safer training. Overall, class uniforms promote consistency, discipline, and a strong team identity within the studio.

Recitals & Performances

Building Confidence Through Performance

We offer multiple performance opportunities throughout the year, giving our dancers consistent stage experience that helps build confidence, poise, and a love for performing. Regular performances allow dancers to apply what they learn in class while becoming comfortable on stage in a fun and supportive environment.

To participate in performances, dancers are required to purchase a designated costume and hair piece, and must have the correct tights and dance shoes to ensure a polished and uniform presentation.
