Additional Performance Opportunity!

High Country will be producing a Christmas Show this Holiday Season! We'd love to have as many of our younger dancers participate as possible!  The younger children will participate in the pre-show. Our Christmas Show will be held 7pm on November 22-23rd (Friday & Saturday) at the Fort Collins Lincoln Center! This Christmas Show will be held in addition to the three recitals we hold every year.

PRE-SHOW PARTICIPATING GROUPS:

• Clogging: Intro to Clogging, Rising Stars Clogging & Clogging Level      1 (Iron)
• Hip Hop: Hippity Hop, Rising Stars Hip Hop & Hip Hop Level 1
• Jazz: Rising Stars Jazz & Jazz Level 1
• Ballet: Rising Stars Ballet& Ballet Level 1

DETAILS ABOUT PARTICIPATING

WEEKLY REHEARSALS:

Dancers will learn their Christmas routines during normal practice every week. Teachers will start teaching these dances during the Fall Semester. You will not have to come to additional weekly practices to participate in the Christmas Show.

EXTRA REHEARSALS:

There will be two extra rehearsals for dancers participating in the Christmas Show. One will be held at the studio, and one will be held at the theater. These rehearsals will be held in addition to dancers' normal weekly practices. These rehearsals are the following:

• November 18th (Monday), 5-7pm: This rehearsal will be held in the Fort      Collins Studio. This is a DRESS rehearsal. Dancers will need to arrive completely      dressed in their costume ready to go. Dancers will need to have on the      correct hairpiece, tights (bought from the studio ONLY), shoes and      costumes. We want to make sure everyone has exactly what they need before      arriving at the Lincoln Center.
• November 21st (Thursday), 4:15-5:45pm: This rehearsal will take place at the Fort      Collins Lincoln Center. This is a DRESS rehearsal. Dancers will need to      arrive at the theater completely dressed and ready to go. Dancers will      need to have on the correct hairpiece, tights (bought from the studio      ONLY), shoes and costumes.

COSTUME:

To participate in the Christmas performance, dancers will have to buy an additional costume. This costume will be Christmas themed to specifically match the routine they will be performing. The price for Christmas costumes usually ranges between $75-$90. Dancers will need to be measured and pay for their costumes by September 15th to ensure they arrive in time for the show.

The Christmas costume will need to be purchased in addition to the set class costume that is purchased for the entire year. The Christmas costume will only be worn for the Christmas Show. At all other HCC Recitals, dancers will wear their normal class costumes that are purchased for the entire year.

REGISTRATION FEE:

To register to perform in the Christmas Show, dancers will need to pay the $40 Registration Fee. Our registration deadline is September 15th. Dancers can register after this date, but will only be admitted if their costume is still available for purchase.

T-SHIRT:

All dancers performing in the Christmas Show will receive a FREE T-Shirt! Please make sure to click on your desired t-shirt size when registering on our website.
