Dicken’s Nutcracker & Holiday Spectacular

Lincoln Center, Fort Collins - November 22-23, 2024

High Country is so excited to present its 25thAnniversary show, “Dicken’s Nutcracker & Holiday Spectacular” this coming November! Our Christmas Show will be held the weekend prior to Thanksgiving at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins.

This Christmas Show will be held in addition to our three yearly recitals.

We will be having ALL of our Upper-Level students participate in this show.

UPPER-LEVEL CLASSES:

• Clogging Levels 5&up
• Ballet Levels 4&up
• Jazz Levels 2&up

If you do not want to be in the Christmas Show, please let us know by July 1st so we can plan accordingly. Email: highcountrydance@gmail.com

Note: Dancers who choose not to participate in this show will still learn the show choreography (because it will benefit their training) but will not be put in formations. Teachers will still be spending part of the class time working on dances for the Rialto Showcases as well.

REGISTRATION FEE: To perform in the Christmas Show, dancers will need to pay a $50 Registration Fee. This fee will automatically be charged to your accounts on July 1st.

FREE T-SHIRT: All dancers MUSTfill out an online t-shirt registration form so we have their t-shirt size. It is important you don’t forget to fill out this form. Dancers who do not fill out this form will NOT receive a t-shirt because we will be going off of this list for our final order.

COSTUME(S): To participate in the Christmas Show, dancers will need costumes themed to the routines they are participating in. These costumes will need to be bought or rented from the studio.

DETAILS ABOUT PARTICIPATING:

WEEKLY REHEARSALS:

Dancers will work on the Christmas Show in their normal technique classes.

ENTIRE CAST EXTRA REHEARSALS:

There will be extra rehearsals for all dancers participating in the Christmas Show. Most will be held at the studio, and one will be held at the theater. These rehearsals will be held in addition to dancers' normal weekly practices and are MANDATORY!!

SEGMENT RUN-THROUGHS: Dancers will NOT need to be to ALL the “Segment” Run-throughs.  Dancer’s will find out exactly which of the listed times they will be rehearsing as we get closer to December.

• Friday, November 1st,      4:30-8:30pm --- Segment run-throughs:      Fort Collins Studio
• Saturday, November 2nd,      11:30-3:30pm --- Segment Run-Through:      Fort Collins Studio
• Friday, November 8th, 4:30-8:30pm --- Segment run-throughs & Finale Rehearsal: Fort Collins Studio
• Saturday, November 9th,      11:30-3:30pm --- Segment run-throughs      & Finale Rehearsal: Fort Collins Studio

DRESS REHEARSALS: All dancers will need attend these rehearsals for the entire time listed. Full Hair and Costume is required.

• Friday, November 15th, 4:30-8:30pm --- Dress Rehearsal: Fort Collins Studio
• Saturday, November 16th, 11:30-3:30pm --- Dress Rehearsal: Fort Collins Studio
• Monday –      Wednesday (November 18-20th): Keep open for any rehearsals that are needed!
• Thursday, November 21st, 6-10pm --- Tech/Dress Rehearsal: Lincoln Center      Theater

WHAT ARE THE EXTRA COSTS TO PARTICIPATE???

• $50 Registration Fee: This amount will automatically be added to your      bill July 1st. Please let us know before that time if you will not be able      to participate in the show.
• Christmas Costumes: Plan on extra fees for costuming. Costumes      will either be purchased or rented.

If you CANNOT PARTICIPATE in the Christmas Show, please let us know ASAP!!! If we do not hear from you, we will plan on having you in the show!!!
