MASTERS BALLET SCHOOL

The Masters Ballet School at High Country Conservatory of Dance provides a progressive, structured ballet education for dancers pursuing technical excellence, artistry, and long‑term growth. Based on the Russian Ballet Method, our program is presented in a step-by-step manner for physical safety and success.  Placement is determined by skill level, experience, and commitment.

BALLET PROGRAM

Division 1: Beginning Program

Designed for dancers developing a strong technical foundation:

  • Masters Ballet 1 – 1 hour 15 minutes, twice per week

  • Masters Ballet 2 – 1 hour 30 minutes, twice per week

Classes emphasize proper alignment, strength, flexibility, coordination, and classical ballet terminology.

Division 2: Intermediate Program

For dancers with a solid foundation who are ready to increase technical demands:

  • Masters Ballet 3 – 1 hour 30 minutes, twice per week

  • Masters Ballet 4 – 2 hours, three times per week (includes pointe work)

An optional Character Class (1–1.5 hours per week) is available to enhance performance quality, musicality, and stylistic versatility.

Division 3: Advanced Ballet Pathways

Dancers advancing into Level 5 may choose between two focused pathways:

Teen Ballet Program

A twice‑weekly option for dedicated dancers who wish to continue advancing in ballet without the commitment of a full pre‑professional schedule. Classes include technique, pointe, and repertoire.

Pre‑Professional Ballet Program

Designed for serious dancers pursuing professional careers or competitive college dance programs. This intensive program includes:

  • Daily technique classes (5 per week)

  • Pointe training

  • Repertoire and partnering classes

  • Character training

  • Stretching, strengthening, and conditioning

This pathway emphasizes discipline, artistry, and performance readiness.
